Before beginning, ensure you have a measuring tape, a measure sheet (shown below) and a pen. Be aware of the maximum blind width prior to measuring windows (refer to the website for this information). Ensure you measure from mullion to mullion.

Step 1
Measure the width of windows first then the drop of windows, moving left to right in location. While doing this, be aware of anything that may affect the operation of the roller blinds (i.e door handles).

Step 2
Fill in all other details needed on the measure sheet.

Please Note

  • Always use a metal tape measure
  • Ensure you record your measurements in millimeters
  • Measure width first, then drop
  • Measure every window as there could be slight variations that may affect your window furnishing fittings perfectly
  • Do not duplicate measurements from house plans as they may not be accurate
  • If measuring with a partner, ensure they repeat measurements out loud as they write them down
  • Double check all measurement details are correct before ordering
